I'm an artist, mother, wife and a lover of fine wine, good music and long trail runs.

As an artist I like to experiment with all types of styles and genres and allow my mood to dictate how my creations come together. My focus is color and line and finding the balance through those elements. I mostly paint on canvas with acrylics but like to experiment on paper as well.

Creating is a way for me to explore my emotions, desires and fears, taking the viewers along in the process, sharing the feelings I feel with them. My art is continually finding that balance between movement and color and shapes and as it evolves it is becoming more playful and purposeful, having the paint compete against each other to create contrast and control.

I have a BA in Art from OSU-cascades campus in Bend, Oregon and studied under Sandy Brooke. I still live in Bend and grab a lot of my inspiration and creativity from the world around me.
